Apologising

Hey! Boys, hang on a minute.
Oh, no. I think we're in trouble.
I saw you leave the gate open.
Oh, I'm really sorry. We forgot to close it.
If you leave the gate open, my cows will go into the other filed.
Oh. Sorry, we didn't realise.
Well, can you remember next time, please?
OK. We didn't mean to cause a problem. We'll go and close it.

Tom Sawyer

Tom Sawyer lived in the small village of St Petersburg near the Mississippi River with his aunt Polly, his brother Sid and his sister Mary. The summer evenings were long, and in the evenings Tom liked walking around the village.
Tom was a boy who has many exciting adventures and he often gets into trouble.
He and his friend Huck are always looked for adventures.
One of Tom's biggest adventure taked place in McGuffey's Cave.
Another interesting thing is that Tom loves Becky Thatcher, a new girl.

My opinion:
I like this novel, because the adventures of Tom are very interesting and some chapters are funny.

Junior High School in the USA

School cheerleaders

Many middle shools have cheerleaders. These girls learn chants and complicated acrobatics. They "cheer" the school's sports teams during games.

fish toilet

This Crazy aquarium looks like it's part of the toilet. But it's not: the aquarium is in front of the toilet tank.
So don't worry - when you flush this toilet you don't flush the fish away!

Justin Timberlake

Justin started performing when he was eight. At 10 he became a Mousketeer on the Disney Channel, like Britney Spears and Cristina Aguilera. At 14, he became a member of the boys band NSYNC. In 2002, he made his debut solo album, Justified, and became a star. Justin was never popular at school, he says. "I was a loner because I was interested in music. I was not cool".
