My Easter holidays

All week, I've been to Turkey with my family. I liked to go in a balloon. We saw the bridge that sorts out Europe from Asia. It was fantastic!

We arrived in Banyoles on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday I went with Mios to the cinema and we watched Una Pareja de Tres.
On Monday I had lunch with my family.

Describing a summer festival

In October we go to Sant Martirià in Banyoles.
The celebration lasts three days. It's a traditional celebration and there are always crowds of people.
At Sant Martirià you can enjoy music, dancing and the funfair.
There is a great variety of music and traditional Catalan dances called Sardanes. A music band plays traditional musica and people dance Sardanes.
Also, there are the funfair where many young people enjoy. They are open all day along.
The last day in the evening, there are the fireworks and we always eat toghether with my family.
If you come to Sant Martiria's celebration, you'll need some warm clothes because sometimes is cold. But it's a fantastic celebration.

A Royal birthday

Queen Elizabeth II's birthday is on 21 April. She will be 83 years old! She has decided to open her garden to the public. Buckingham Palace has the biggest garden in London, with 322 types of flowers, 150 trees and a tennis court. Tickets will cost £20 (22 euros). Who knows, maybe you will see the Queen!

This English couple love fast food. They had a 19-kilo cheeseburger as their wedding cake! The giant burger took three hours to cook. But they love chocolate too. "We also had a chocolate cake!" said the bride.
